Shunza brought us there and we were introduced first time to the renowned ''Ikan Bakar Garam'' which has attracted countless food lover from all over.

We ordered the Salt-Baked fish@RM 23 (of course) and it did not let us down. Not only is the flesh is juicy and sweet, it is slightly salty and tasted even more delicious with the home-made sauce.
Next dish was the Deep-Fried Sotong Rings @RM 15.
My friend could not even wait for me to finish taking this picture and his fork was already ''attacking'' the poor squid.... =p Another worth mentioned dish as it was fried to near perfection with the addition of curry powder and tumeric.Another dish was the Steamed Tilapia in Light Soya Sauce @RM 20 which was steamed inside an aluminium foil. The seasoning was just right without affecting the natural flavour of the fish.
The Claypot Japanese Tofu is a bit of a let down, especially when our high expectations built up after a couple of 'thumbs-up'' dishes. Cooked with quite a lot of the ingredients (shrimps, tofu, chinese cabbage, etc) though. Suitable for those who prefer milder taste
With reasonable price and finger-licking-good food, Hu Xu Shen is the exact place to head to for those who enjoys good food.
